Hamden Hall Country Day School

Our Lower School is a division of curious, passionate, talented, and creative students guided by faculty who use their wealth of experience and enthusiasm to create a learning environment within a culture of possibility. Hands-on, experiential learning is the foundation of all that we do in our Early Childhood program. Morning meetings, exploratory play centers, Specials classes (Mandarin, music, P.E., Library), process art, field trips, and outdoor adventures in our Mud Kitchen and playgrounds offer a well-rounded day. Additionally, developmentally appropriate academic lessons support our commitment to differentiated instruction and foster a love of learning.

Parents are encouraged to participate as they are able, as we are a family school and community. This may involve work with grade level projects or school-wide initiatives. We encourage you to call and schedule a private tour.
