So Long to Public Safety Interns

Daniel Trastsianka, Diego Rosete, Shayla Correa, Olivia Vega

Public Safety says farewell to Shayla Correa, Diego Rosete, Daniel Trastsianka, and Olivia Vega.

Correa and Vega worked for Yale Police studying crimes committed by juveniles; Rosete worked in Emergency Management creating emergency response plans; Trastsianka worked for Yale Security advocating for moving Security to West Campus; and Anna Schleck worked with staff administration.

Their summer was filled with hands-on learning, exploring career opportunities in Public Safety, and gaining professional development experience.

The students wrapped up their time with Public Safety by presenting a summary of their work to Public Safety management. The Public Safety staff wishes them well as they return to the University of New Haven and Southern Connecticut State University.
