Meeting Notes for Managers, March 2024
Expanded C&T Training & Development Program
The program now includes a spring offering. The time employees spend attending this training should be documented in Workday as “training” time.
Workday Learning
Workday Learning replaced Yale’s Training Management System (TMS) on January 29. Unlike TMS, Workday Learning is part of a new learning management experience for you and your team.
Your influence as a manager is essential in guiding learning and development for your team. To that end, we write to remind you of the following actions we ask all managers to take:
- Please complete:
- Workday Learning for Managers training to understand how to monitor training and compliance for your team.
- Workday Learning for Learners training to learn how to navigate Workday Learning and support your team using this resource.
- Let your team members know that Yale supports taking the time for learning and development. Please encourage them to log into Workday Learning to explore and engage in growth and development opportunities.
- Contact us at learning@yale.edu if you’re interested in having us meet with your team to discuss learning and development at Yale.
Your support and leadership is important as we transition to this new learning experience.
Anyone with questions may refer to the Workday Learning FAQs or email learning@yale.edu.”
Coming soon: Enhancements to PCard suspension notices
Notifying individual Yale Purchasing Card (PCard) holders who are delinquent for 90 days or more in submitting their expense reports is currently a manual process. Effective Monday, March 18, 2024, Yale’s Purchasing Card Suspension Notifications will be automated in Workday and sent out as email notices when the expenses cross specific time periods.
