Armed Robbery and Shooting

To the Yale Community,

I write to let you know of an armed robbery that occurred this afternoon at approximately 2:00 PM in the vicinity of Edgewood and Dwight Streets. A delivery person was robbed and shot in the arm by an unidentified teen-aged male. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was provided medical attention at the scene. The assailant fled on foot toward Garden Street. The New Haven Police are investigating. Yale Police are working closely with New Haven Police to identify the individual responsible for the robbery.
