Birds of a feather flock together...for United Way

Human Resources was recently the site of an outbreak of “flocking”. Like-minded champions and supporters of the “Yale in Action” 2017-2018 United Way campaign created a fun-raising activity with the help of pink flamingo-feathered friends. A $5 donation allowed participants to “flock” a colleague, which resulted in a flock of flamingos taking roost in that person’s office or cubicle. Flocking retaliation could be thwarted by the purchase of “flock insurance” for $10.  
    
We caught three staff members at 221 Whitney Avenue styling in their pink nests…all smiles in support of United Way. Give Now to the 2018 Yale-United Way campaign.
