Burglary 53 Dixwell Avenue Nov. 6, 2019

To the Yale Community,

I write to let you know that an attempted  burglary occurred this evening  at 53 Dixwell Avenue at approximately 9:45 PM.  Upon returning home, an undergraduate student found an unknown man in his residence. The man fled on a bicycle from Dixwell Avenue onto Bristol St. No physical contact was and no physical injuries were reported. The New Haven police are investigating and can be reached at (203) 946-6316. The Yale police have increased patrols in the area.
