Academic Business Operations

The Academic Business Operations team is led by Joe Crosby Senior Associate Dean for Finance and Administration, Yale Law School and Assistant Vice President for Academic Business Operations, Yale University. The team is comprised of a network of business and financial professionals who are operationally and strategically organized to support Yale’s mission of teaching, research, and practice. Every unit on campus – schools, colleges, museums, and libraries—has at least one business professional who partners with unit leaders to align resources with program strategy.

Operations Finance & Administration

The Operations Finance & Administration (F&A) team is dedicated to streamlining all financial functions and ensuring consistency across planning units including Facilities, Utilities, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Hospitality, Public Safety, Administrative Operations, and New Haven Affairs through standardized practices and controls. By leveraging operational efficiencies and eliminating redundant systems, we enhance collaboration, streamline processes, and foster career development, all while optimizing resources to meet the university’s long-term financial objectives.
