Are you planning an event or require police or security services? According to the Yale College Undergraduate Regulations for student activities and extracurricular activities, all events require advanced approval of the appropriate authority. In some instances, campus police officers “must be engaged by the sponsoring organization and must be present throughout the event.”
Complete the Request for Police or Security Services form to request police or security coverage for your event. The department will determine the required coverage.
Forms can only be processed with the required signatures. Refer to the Yale College Undergraduate Regulations for more information. Four days advance notice is required for most events.
Paper copies of the Request for Police or Security Services form are available at Yale University Police headquarters at 101 Ashmun Street.
Public Safety Awareness Presentations
Yale Public Safety staff, including Yale police officers, conduct safety orientations to incoming first-year students, new graduate and professional students, and faculty and staff. These presentations highlight services, safety tips, and the role of Yale police on campus.
