Student Parking

Parking for Undergraduate, Graduate and Professional School students on Yale’s Central Campus is available at the Science Park Garage.

Parking fees can be billed by the calendar year, academic year or by semester. To sign up for parking, please complete a Student Parking Application (VPN required) or visit the forms page.

Parking Rates

Parking for students at the Yale School of Medicine campus is at the Amistad Garage.

YSM and YSPH students have the option of parking by the month, for the fall, spring or summer terms, or by the calendar year.

New YSM/YSPH Student Carpool Program

To support the University’s sustainability efforts and help reduce transportation costs, the YSM/YSPH Student Carpool Program is being launched. This program mirrors Yale’s faculty and staff carpool model and is available exclusively to YSM and YSPH students. To get started, please complete the YSM Campus Student Carpool application, which can be found on the Forms page of the Parking website or by using the link below.

Program Details

• Students must self-arrange for carpool mates.
• The primary carpool driver will receive unlimited access to the Amistad Garage.
• The secondary participant will receive 15 parking debits for fall or spring term and 6 for summer term, to use on days they do not carpool.
• Each member of the carpool will pay 50% of that term’s rate.

Carpool Program Guidelines

• Term-Based Enrollment: Valid for one term only.
• No Refunds or Cancellations: Enrollment is a semester-long commitment.
• Re-Enrollment Required: Students must reapply each term.
• Designated Garage: All carpool parking will be assigned to the Amistad Garage.
• One-Time Fee: A single term fee will be charged to your student account.
