Public Safety Update

Nighttime Safe Rides are available from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am to take you door-to-door within the campus boundary. A University shuttle will be dispatched to your location and will drop you to your final on-campus destination. It is advisable to request the service at least 30 minutes prior to the intended departure time, and even earlier, during high-demand hours such as late nights or weekends.

When downloading the app, use your NetID as your username and set up your password. Use the app to request your ride and to receive notifications when your driver arrives.

Walking Escorts 

Students, Faculty, and Staff may request a Security escort anywhere within the campus footprint. A security officer will walk you to-and-from any point on campus, within a reasonable walking distance on campus between Yale buildings.

Accessible Transit Van

Yale Transit operates a Accessible Transit Van that transports members of the Yale community who are permanently or temporarily disabled. Passengers are picked up on request and transported within the Shuttle boundary. To register, contact the Resource Office on Disabilities (203-432-2325).
