Mr. Bebbington joined Yale University Auditing in 1996 as Deputy Director with over seventeen years of combined experience in public and private accounting. He began his professional career in public accounting in 1979 as an auditor with Price Waterhouse. He also spent five years at Connecticut Savings Bank as Director of Internal Audit and, subsequently, Comptroller, with responsibility for the bank’s financial activities and fiscal budget. Before coming to Yale, Mr. Bebbington worked as Senior Manager of Internal Audit for Perkin- Elmer Corporation, a Fortune 200 company, where he was responsible for auditing worldwide manufacturing, sales, and service operations. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. He is a CPA and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Connecticut Society of CPAs (CSCPA).
