In this role, Amber helps set and advance the university’s sustainability priorities. She acts as a liaison to university leadership, represents Yale’s sustainability portfolio internally and externally, and fosters collaboration across academic and operational units. Amber chairs Yale’s Operations Sustainability & Resiliency Task Force and several committees focused on sustainability and operational efficiency, guiding cross-departmental efforts to address complex environmental and institutional challenges.
As a member of Yale Facilities’ executive leadership team, Amber advises on capital projects, framework planning, operational priorities, and change management strategies. She directs the Office of Sustainability, setting its strategic vision and leading key decision-making processes to ensure Yale continues to advance its sustainability goals and commitments.
Amber holds an M.A. in sustainable development from the School of International Training Graduate Institute.
