Information Technology Senior Leadership

IT at Yale is led by John Barden, Vice President for Information Technology and CIO, the ITS Senior Leadership Team, and the IT Leadership Council, in collaboration with governance committees.

The ITS Senior Leadership Team stewards IT services for the Yale community. Meeting weekly, the team engages in active dialogue to drive decisions that empower the ITS organization to deliver on its mission in close partnership with peer IT communities at Yale.

The IT Leadership Council consists of technology leaders from across the university who work together to optimize technology practices influence the IT Strategy at Yale. Meeting quarterly, the Council advances University-wide IT strategies, policies, and standards to support both individual schools and the broader university. Acting as One IT, the Council promotes innovation through university-wide partnerships, ensures IT resources and services are effectively aligned, and drives efficiency and effectiveness across Yale units.
