IT Governance Committees

IT Pillars.

IT at Yale collaborates closely with the community to make informed decisions that shape our technological landscape. Our IT strategy is organized into a series of pillars, each representing a distinct area of Yale’s technology footprint, including academic, research, clinical, cultural heritage, administrative, and foundational IT.

Each pillar has a dedicated committee, led by a senior member of the community to ensure that unique needs and perspectives are considered. These committees recommend and prioritize investments and projects, sponsor major initiatives, and provide essential guidance for IT support and maintenance activities. Committee members play a crucial role in influencing and vetting decisions across all stakeholders.
