YPD Welcomes New Director of Compliance & Strategic Initiatives

The Yale Police Department is proud to welcome Lisa Skelly-Byrnes to our ranks.  Lisa starts today as our Director of Compliance and Strategic Initiatives reporting directly to Chief Ronnell Higgins. 

In this new public safety role, she will be responsible for developing, managing and implementing strategic plans and operational initiatives as part of the senior civilian administration for the University Police and Security Departments.  Lisa will also serve as the University’s compliance officer for all relevant federal and state regulations regarding public safety and will serve as a key adviser on strategic issues. Read more.
