Four Yale PD Officers Recently Promoted

Yale Police Chief and Director of Public Safety Ronnell Higgins is pleased to announce the following departmental promotions: 
  • Lieutenant William Kraszewski - Promoted to the rank of Captain overseeing Administration and assisting the Chief’s office in coordinating operations between Yale police and security.
  • Lieutenant Joseph Vitale - Promoted to the rank of Captain overseeing Patrol Operations, Emergency Services and Communications.
  • Sergeant Brian Donnelly - Promoted to the rank of Lieutenant assigned as Officer in Charge of the Investigative Services Unit.
  • Officer Michael Dominique -  Promoted to the rank of Sergeant assigned to Patrol Operations.

“I’m proud that we are able to continue to promote from within our ranks.  We have talented, dedicated officers and this reorganization will focus resources on specific areas and needs,” said Higgins.

During the badging ceremony, family members were invited and assisted in pinning our new captains, lieutenant and sergeant. A hearty congratulations to all!
