Multifactor Authentication for Office 365 (MFA O365) is an optional add-on service that adds an additional security layer when using YaleConnect on or off campus or while traveling. MFA O365 adds one extra step to the log-in process by requiring an individual to enter a one-use code valid for 90 days when connecting from Outlook Desktop or Mobile apps.
