Credit union deduction change

As part of a recent merger between Northeast Alliance Federal Credit Union and Affinity Federal Credit Union, the University has been asked to convert all credit union deductions to direct deposit payments.  Beginning with paychecks on or after January 31, 2018, employees will no longer see a deduction on their pay slips; instead, they will see a deposit to Affinity Federal Credit Union at the bottom of their pay slip.

This change does not require any action on your part.

As a reminder, if you would like to modify your payment elections, you can log on to Workday after January 31, and select the “Pay” worklet under “Payment Elections.”

Any updates to your payment elections will be provided to your credit union through Workday. You will no longer need to visit your credit union office to make changes, nor will your credit union office accept updates to your deposit election.
