She is the first lead administrator to manage two Yale professional schools. Regina started at the University in 1984 in Transport, Receiving & Storage (TR&S) and was the lead administrator at the Beinecke Library for 27 years before transferring to the School of Art in July 2015.

In addition, new operations manager positions were created at both the Schools of Art and Architecture. These jobs are currently posted on STARS, Yale’s online hiring system.  These jobs are currently posted on STARS, Yale’s online hiring system.  For more information on these open positions, please visit the Internal Applicants webpage, then click on “current job opportunities” and search by operations manager, School of Art or School of Architecture.

This restructure is a result of a change in the School of Architecture’s leadership. John Jacobson, Associate Dean, Lead Administrator, and Professor Adjunct for the School of Architecture, will step down from his financial duties on June 30, 2018. John will be on sabbatical this fall and return in the spring of 2019, to continue teaching at the school, as he has done for the past 48 years. He served as the school’s Associate Dean and Lead Administrator since 1996.

Please join me in congratulating Regina and thanking John for his many years of service.

Best regards,

Kathleen Byington, Assistant Vice President, Business Operations
