Then and Now: The unknown history of how computing was gendered and what we can do to reverse the trend
WiT@Yale welcomes Allison Fine Mishkin, who will lead the discussion on how computing was genered, current research on gender and technology, and organizational and educational best practices to prime and plug the leaky pipeline of women in technology. Allison is a joint PhD/MBA with focus on technology and young women’s development and has worked at Seasame Workshop, BrainPOP, and Code Like a Girl and consults for universities and schools on inclusive technology education.
