Health Hackathon - Apply, innovate, win prizes!

As innovation in technology becomes more prevalent in healthcare, The Yale Center for Biomedical and Interventional Technology (CBIT) Health Hackathon brings together quite a remarkable and multi-disciplined group of participants with the purpose of developing high-quality health-related solutions. This health Hackathon was formed and launched by Yale CBIT, and was the first of its kind at Yale. Past CBIT health hackathons have attracted participants from 45 universities across the country and Europe.

This year’s theme is “Genomics: The next frontier of personalized medicine.” The hackathon is open to: clinicians, researchers, engineers, IT professionals, entrepreneurs, nurses, designers, public health professionals, students, business community members and more! In addition to the top innovation cash prizes, teams will compete for prizes such as - best design, best presentation, best pivot, and most creative use of resources. To participate in this event, please apply prior to Tuesday, January 4, 2019. The event will be held Friday, January 25 through Sunday, January 27, 2019 at 55 Park Street, New Haven, CT.
