Help us build instant wine cellars
December 13, 2018
As the holiday season begins, invitations to parties arrive, planning for various celebrations start, and people are thinking about giving. As you begin your planning for the days ahead, or while you are shopping for your own enjoyment, please take a moment and consider the opportunity to give in a different way this year.
The 25 Science Park United Way Campaign Team is asking everyone in our organizations to consider donating a bottle of wine of any type (valued $10 or greater). All donations will be combined into various “Instant Wine Cellars.” The drawing for the Instant Wine Cellars will take place on Tuesday, December 18 at noon — you do not need to be present.
The United Way Campaign Team will be in the 25 Science Park Lobby at lunch time Wednesday through Friday, December 12 - 14, and Monday, December 17 to sell tickets. Tickets will be sold for $10 each. Anyone who donates a bottle will be given the opportunity to purchase a discounted ticket for $5. All proceeds will be donated to the United Way.
To donate a bottle of wine, please leave your bottle in the office of Ted Hanss, at 25 Science Park, room 452, between Monday, December 10 and Friday, December 14. Imagine if everyone in our organizations donated one bottle of wine — we could have some very nice cellars in our drawing, just in time for the holidays!
Your Campaign Team is hoping you will consider all the ways we are providing for you to contribute to the United Way Campaign. More opportunities will be available through January.
Thank you for your support.
