IT Senior Leadership organizational announcement
January 10, 2019
John Barden recently sent out the following announcement to selected members of the IT community:
It is with mixed emotions that I write to inform you that Jane Livingston has accepted a position as the Associate Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Florida State University. Her last day with Yale will be Friday, February 1.
Jane joined Yale in 2006. During her tenure, she held a variety of roles with increasing responsibilities and has achieved a record of success. Among her accomplishments, Jane led the implementation of Drupal at Yale (YaleSites) and built Yale’s user experience and digital accessibility teams. She was also instrumental in the formation of our information technology governance model, as well as our climate, culture, and inclusion efforts. Jane leaves behind a diverse and dedicated team as well as strengthened collaborations across the Yale community.
Jane’s new position is a well-deserved acknowledgment of her talent. As we consider the next steps for this leadership position, Frank Mathew our current Director of Student and Academic Support Systems has graciously agreed to take on this interim role.
Please join me in congratulating Jane on her achievement.
