IT Employee Orientation debuts this month

February 7, 2019

The Climate, Culture, and Inclusion (CCI) task force is pleased to announce we will resume the IT New Employee Orientation program, which will be provided to new employees and open to all who wish to participate. This will be a three-hour program, offered quarterly to new IT employees. IT managers, especially those with new hires, will also be invited to participate.
This specialized orientation will introduce some of the major IT departments at Yale, present an overview of the type of services our groups provide, and introduce various Yale resources available to employees.  We will also offer an overview of some of the acronyms and Yale-specific terminology commonly referenced in the Yale - IT lexicon.
Our first IT Employee Orientation event is tentatively scheduled for February 26, beginning at 9:00 a.m., and will be held at 25 Science Park, Room 125. Members from our senior leadership team (John Barden, Ryan Schlagheck, and Marc Ulan) will welcome attendees and kick off the inaugural event. Dessara Bryant, and other members of the CCI task force will be presenting.
