Multifactor Authentication (MFA) - Know Before You Go
April 18, 2019
As we approach summer and our fiscal year end, many individuals have travel plans - including international trips. As a reminder, Yale ITS recommends you set up at least two options for Multifactor Authentication (MFA) through DUO before leaving on a trip. Options for managing your account, without need of the ITS Help Desk, once you have left the country are limited. Also, if you already have DUO set up to automatically call a device or send a push for authentication, you need to disable this prior to travel. See Multifactor Authentication (MFA-DUO): Enrolling and managing devices for directions on managing your authentication options.
