On Tuesday, May 7 at 7:00 a.m., ITS will replace the existing reporting server associated with the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) used for Endpoint Management to increase efficiency. The existing server currently handles multiple roles, including reporting. Switching from an all-purpose server to a dedicated reporting server will result in our SCCM environment running more efficiently. Another benefit is faster restoration of the reporting database and services, as these will be separate from the main SCCM server. No outage is expected as the new server is already live.
Individuals who run reports through SCCM will need to update any of their browser bookmarks or favorites that start with https://ee-sccm1.yu.yale.edu/reports to point to: https://EE-REPORTS.yu.yale.edu/root instead.
In addition to a new server address, the SCCM Tools report has been renamed to: _SCCM Tools and the update address is: https://ee-reports.yu.yale.edu/root/report/ConfigMgr_PCS/_PublicComputin…
After updating any bookmarks or favorites, no further action is required. The existing server address will not be redirected; individuals who visit the old hyperlink will see an error message.
