A New Blending Experience

The new Yale Science Building Café’s grand opening is planned for Wednesday, August 28. The current Café in Klein Biology Tower will close  and the new café will open, acting as a bridge between the new and old buildings!

While there are numerous technological advancements in this facility, one of the most innovative is the Blendtec 895 NBS ©. This blender offers an in cup blending system. Rather than making a smoothie in a separate pitcher and move the end product to a cup, the final product is made directly in the cup! This reduces waste of product as well as a reduction of water usage for cleaning. Not only will these drinks be delicious and nutritious, the manner in which they are made contributes to our overall dedication to health and sustainability.
