ITS objectives and scorecard nearing completion

September 5, 2019

Last week, the ITS leadership team reconvened to engage in further discussions focused around the ITS objectives and refining the balanced scorecard. The recently defined objectives, listed below, will now begin to take shape quickly as the balanced scorecard is finalized and next steps are identified.

  • Enhance Financial Acumen and Responsibility
  • Optimize Service Offerings & Incentive Model
  • Improve Service Reliability
  • Mature IT Governance
  • Simplify and Standardize Core Processes
  • Enhance Culture of Accountability

The balanced scorecard, a three-year plan tied to these objectives, covers fiscal years 20, 21, and 22, and focuses on introducing consistency, clarity, and standards across the organization. The scorecard outlines expected outcomes, how they will be measured, and who on the senior leadership team is responsible for leading initiatives tied to outcomes. All objectives are related to at least one of our strategic anchors: One IT at Yale, Service Quality, and Workplace of Choice.

To learn more about the scorecard reach out to your leadership team member.  We will share the progress on the ITS objectives and scorecard at the upcoming IT Town Hall meeting on Thursday, October 3, at the School of Management.
