Running Windows 7? Action is required
October 16, 2019
This information applies only to those individuals running the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system on their computer.
Windows 7 will no longer be supported by Microsoft after January 14, 2020. Devices running Windows 7 will not meet the required University’s minimum-security standards after this date. Operating systems that have reached end of life present significant potential threat to the University. Due to time and effort involved in migrating to a modern operating system platform, it is necessary to act now. Action should be taken as soon as possible to ensure computers are running a supported and secure operating system.
