Box at Yale discontinues folder uploads through IE

  • This information applies only to individuals using computers with the Microsoft Windows operating system. MacOS computers are not impacted.
  • Box at Yale (and SecureBox at Yale) no longer supports the folder upload feature within Internet Explorer.


Beginning on Friday, December 27, 2019, the Box at Yale (and SecureBox at Yale) folder upload feature through Internet Explorer will no longer be supported. After this date, individuals using Internet Explorer 11 may continue to select files from the picker, but will no longer see an option to select folders.

To upload folders through Box at Yale or SecureBox at Yale after December 27, you will need to use a supported browser or utilize Box Drive.
