Chef James lends his inspiration, high standards, and culinary vision to Yale Hospitality’s menus. He comes to us with a background in premier resorts and restaurant dining, most recently as Executive Chef at Wynn Las Vegas, where he oversaw seven high-end restaurants as well as room and resort service.
Benson is a California native who lived in New York City for a few years in the late 1990s. He remembers east coast winters well enough to dread the upcoming season in Connecticut!
While Chef James is no stranger to fine food, his favorite indulgence is a simpler pleasure–a hunk of aged Parmigiano Reggiano eaten with crusty bread and drizzled with some good olive oil.
