Shellie Anello receives excellence award

November 21, 2019

Congratulations to Shellie Anello, construction project manager, Yale Facilities who recently received the Dariusz Czarnota Award of Excellence from Yale’s Office of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).

As project manager for Yale’s Capital Project Group, Shellie has been exceptional in promoting productive, collaborative relationships between EHS, planning and project management, and the entire Yale Facilities enterprise. Shellie always includes EHS as a central part of the projects that she manages. These projects have recently included construction of the Yale Science Building, moving research operations from Kline Biology Tower (KBT) and Osborn Memorial Laboratories, and the renovation of KBT.

Her approach to project management demonstrates integrity and instills confidence in her co-workers and customers. Also, her positive impact is both immediate and long-lasting.

Shellie’s emphasis on safety and her inclusive approach to project management have earned her this award of excellence and the deep respect from all who work with her. This annual award recognizes a member of EHS or a partner who works closely with that group. The 2019 excellence awards were given during the EHS Annual Department Strategic Planning meeting held in November at the Maurice R. Greenberg Conference Center. Honorees receive a certificate and a $100 Visa gift card.

Great job Shellie! Keep up the great work.
