Coming soon: Next Generation Network

February 28, 2020

The Next Generation Network (NGN) program, which is designed to increase Yale’s network security, resiliency, speed, and nimbleness, will be deployed at 221 Whitney Avenue in March.

Through FY24, the NGN program will bring 60,000 devices in Yale’s community onto an updated network, to support the University’s complex research and learning institutional needs. This effort, which replace Yale’s aging infrastructure, also brings new capabilities, including a dashboard that will allow IT to be more strategic in their oversight of network activity.
Additional information about the project can be found on the NGN website.
