New IT role brings exciting collaboration opportunities
February 20, 2020
When a Director of Web Technologies position was vacated, IT approached Hadar Call to lead the team in an interim capacity, while retaining her responsibilities as the Director of Alumni Affairs and Development. Her expertise and relationships with the community positioned her for success in this role, but combining these areas of responsibility was a new model for IT. During her time as Interim Director, Hadar proved that she was a strong, effective, and highly competent leader for these areas and her appointment as Director of Advancement and Web Technologies was officially announced on February 14. In her expanded role, she supports both the Office of Development with Alumni Affairs and IT with Accessibility, User Experience, and Web Services.
Leading up to this promotion, Hadar attended Maximizing Organizational Resources (MOR) Leadership training and was confirmed as a top candidate through the succession planning process. Hadar brings a wealth of expertise from her former role as Director of Alumni Affairs and Development (AAD) for ITS, where she formed strong relationships with the Advancement Systems team, led by Michael Felberbaum. Jointly, their teams delivered the upgrade of the AAD Constituent Relationship Management system, earning a Linda Lorimer Award for Distinguished Service, along with many other strategic efforts aimed at strengthening ties to Yale Alumni and creating the technology infrastructure needed to execute a capital campaign.
Please congratulate Hadar in her new role. She brings excellent opportunities for collaboration between IT and the Office of Development, as well as the broader campus.
