Reminder: Unconscious Bias Training for employees must be completed by end of FY20

In support of the One IT @ Yale and Workplace of Choice IT strategic anchors, and at the recommendation of the Climate, Culture, and Inclusion (CCI) Task Force, 72% of ITS staff have completed the Unconscious Bias Foundations online training.

 

Research shows training gives an effective mechanism for employee education and inspiring behavior change. Within ITS, this unconscious bias training is providing a positive awareness of unrealized bias we unintentionally hold. Our goal is to create a respectful workplace, to build and sustain a healthy, respectful, and productive work environment. 

 

As a reminder, all ITS managers and ITS staff are required to complete the online Unconscious Bias Foundations training via Yale’s Training Management System by June 30, 2020.
