Site owners: Sign up for the Global Accessibility Day challenge!
April 30, 2020
Please join the Accessibility team on Tuesday, May 5, to learn about the Accessibility Challenge for Site Owners!
Transitioning to an entirely online teaching and working environment means digital accessibility is more relevant than ever. As we face the challenges of making University content widely available online, teaching across time zones and digital divides, and holding meetings, workshops, and trainings remotely, our team is here to help you maintain an inclusive and equitable online environment where all staff, faculty, and students can succeed.
May 20 is Global Accessibility Awareness Day. To celebrate, we invite site owners to our first Accessibility Challenge: Make one (or more!) accessibility improvements to your website daily between May 5 and May 21. This Lunch and Learn on May 5 will kick-off the event with a refresh on the nuts-and-bolts of accessibility for the web. We will follow up through the next couple of weeks with more tips for shoring up the accessibility of your sites.
If you plan to attend, please sign up through Yale’s Training and Management System (TMS).
