John addresses LinkedIn Learning question
May 28, 2020
Yale’s Chief Information Officer, John Barden, addresses questions asked by the community through our Ask John survey feature. This week, John addresses a question relating to Linda.com LinkedIn Learning resources for retirees.
I will be retiring soon, and the one thing I’d like to be able to take with me is Lynda.com (rebranded as LinkedIn Learning). Is that possible? Please say yes!
A number of university resources are licensed based on current faculty, staff, or student counts, and are restricted to those with active affiliations. For contractual reasons, access to many of these resources is removed from individuals no longer actively affiliated with the university, after a grace period. I encourage you to reach out to the Help Desk for additional questions.
Do you want to ask John about something on your mind? Take a moment to share questions and ideas you might have; submissions are anonymous and responses will be addressed in a future edition of IT Update.
