Staying connected during a pandemic

In a time when it’s easy to feel isolated, HR&A staff has risen to the occasion, finding new and creative ways to keep connected with colleagues. 

Staffing and Career Development has kept in touch with monthly virtual happy hours—an opportunity for the team to catch-up, unwind, and destress while sharing recipes, gardening tips, and a laugh or two.

In April, they organized a vitual art class, led by a local artist who walked the team through drawing spring flowers and butterflies. This event was open to staff members and their families, and a great time was had by all. 

HR Operations staff has followed suit with a newly instituted “Monday morning coffee drop-in”, an easy and fun way for staff to say good morning over a cup of joe.
