New Cafe IT and other IT Academy events and training

August 6, 2020

Hosted by the IT Staff Development team, Yale’s IT Academy consists of a robust speaker series, recommended online training offerings, and learning events to support the professional growth and staff development of Yale’s IT community.

Speaker series expands its scope

The IT Academy speaker series aims to create a balance of technical and interpersonal skills in its offerings. Having already established Tech Talks and InfoSec Chats, we are expanding the Speaker Series to now include Café IT, a monthly virtual event to promote discussions and learning around the IT competencies. Think of the IT Academy speaker series as a three-legged stool consisting of technical, cybersecurity, and IT competencies tracks.

Upcoming Café IT events listed below for convenience; please see full description for the August 20 session further in this article.

Note: Login to Yale’s Virtual Private Network (VPN) may be required when registering.
