Tech Talks: Internet of Things (IoT) & If This Than That (IFTTT) Programming

Wednesday, September 30
3:00—5:00 p.m. (two-hour “Hands-On”)
via Zoom

Please join Paul Villemaire, Technical Support Analyst, for a two-hour “hand’s on” presentation on IoT & IFTTT Programming. Smart technology still has a way to go before it automates every part of our life. However, just because we can’t automate everything we do, it doesn’t mean smart technology is completely useless. There are plenty of neat little hacks that we can employ to work our way around life’s more inconvenient problems, like getting up to turn on a lamp, or getting up to turn on an air conditioner. Join Paul for this moving and powerful, and perhaps even fun, introduction to smart products, IFTTT, and Near Field Communication (NFC) tags so we can transform “this old house” into “this old smart house.”
