Reminder - ITS staff to complete MSS 101 by November 20

Haven’t registered for MSS 101 yet? Time is ticking. All ITS staff must attend MSS 101 on or before November 20.

Get in on the action now to win cool got MSS? swag. Register and complete MSS 101 by October 30, for the last opportunity to earn some got MSS? swag. Note: Connection to Yale’s Virtual Private Network (VPN) is required for registration from off-campus.

This course is part of the MSS Roadshow curriculum that debuted in ITS on September 15. So far, over 250 ITS employees have completed the course. This “required opportunity” is fun; you will learn about the Minimum Security Standards in an interactive and engaging way.

As a reminder, registration for MSS 201 and 301 will open later in the fall. Look out for communications about MSS 201 in the next few weeks. Not all staff need to attend these courses, it depends on your role. Currently MSS 101 is only open to ITS staff. At a later date, the course will be available for our IT partners. We will announce details through this newsletter.
