In collaboration with the Data Science in the Neurosciences study group, this Yale Center for Research Computing workshop on Using Python on the Yale Clusters will cover how to get GPUs, set up an environment on Yale’s High Performance Computing (HPC) clusters, and run Python and Jupyter.
Python is an interpreted, object-oriented, high-level programming language with dynamic semantics. Python’s simple, easy-to-learn syntax emphasizes readability and therefore reduces the cost of program maintenance.
The Jupyter Notebook is an open-source web application that you can use to create and share documents that contain live code, equations, visualizations, and text.
