Meet the newest HR Generalists

Katherine Wilcox joined Yale as an HR Generalist on March 8, 2021, supporting the Yale Medical Care Center, reporting to Lisa Tobio. Katherine shares that she is obsessed the musical Hamilton and admits that she knows the entire soundtrack AND the dance moves!

Emily DiBenigno joined Yale as an HR Generalist in October 2020. Emily’s role is centrally assigned, so she helps wherever there is a need. She currently supports Hospitality and Yale Medicine Administration (YMA) – Clinical Operations, and reports to Marisa Figueira. Emily relocated here from San Diego, CA to be closer to family. She has always been an avid board gamer but her board gaming has increased due to the pandemic. Her new favorites are Seven Wonders, Cribbage, Ticket to Ride, and Catan. She is also exploring pottery and is excited to take classes once it is safe to do so.  

Valena Bewry joined Yale as an HR Generalist, supporting Internal Medicine on September 7, 2020. Valena reports to Lauren Slater.

Sarah Hauswirth began her HR Generalist role at Yale in January 2020, and six weeks later, the university went remote due to Covid. Sarah supports ITS and, once we are back on campus, her primary location will be at Science Park. She reports to Tricia Napor. In her free time, Sarah loves to be outside with her family. She especially enjoys the beach during the warmer months.
