MSS 301 open for registration

April 1, 2021

MSS 301 classes (part of the MSS Roadshow curriculum) begin in mid-April and are now available for registration - requires connection to Yale’s Virtual Private Network (VPN). This hands-on, interactive class focuses on creating a collaborative MSS plan and teaches step-by-step how to interpret or “do” the MSS.

The following roles require MSS 301:

  • System Support Providers
  • System Decision Makers (i.e., Services Owners and Service Offering Managers)

We strongly recommend that project managers (PMs) attend the course because they may receive some of the roles and responsibilities of doing the MSS via delegation. This delegation would come from what we have termed the System Decision Maker. System Decision Makers for ITS are typically our service owners or offering managers.

MSS 301 is optional for those in other roles within ITS. Please check with your supervisor to determine if taking the course would be helpful.

Please note seats available, and do not register for a course with 0 seats remaining.
