Mass closure of inactive purchase orders

To reduce the volume of obsolete commitments and obligations, Procurement plans to perform a mass closure of inactive purchase orders (POs) beginning Monday, May 24, 2021. Criteria for the mass closure will be:

• The purchase order was created on or before March 31, 2020; and
• The purchase order has had no changes or invoice activity since July 15, 2020.

If a purchase order service line with infrequent activity is closed and must be reopened, submit a requisition to Yale Purchasing Services by June 21, 2021, to reopen the PO. Closed purchase orders cannot be reopened after June 30.
