An extraordinary year for Yale IT
June 24, 2021
The 2020-2021 academic year has been quite a roller coaster – testing of our perseverance and resolve, testing of our societal norms and tolerance, testing of our global public health system, and testing of our ability to leverage technology as a business continuity model for all that we do at Yale. While there have been moments of pain, you have risen to the challenge and been a lynchpin in supporting Yale through the last year. Not only did we remain committed to delivering our planned projects and strategic plan goals, but we also developed entirely new reporting systems and processes to support the pandemic, online academic delivery, work from home, and a host of related needs.
I am energized to apply the lessons we’ve learned to the future of Yale, and optimistic about the path ahead. John Barden

IT Update has captured many highlights from this year. As an initial framing for a “year in review”, we have curated a list of some of the most salient, that give you a glimpse of what all of you have achieved.
Thank you for a tremendous year.
