New option to notify others for IT services requested on their behalf

Do you request IT items for other people? Do you want them to receive timely updates rather than yourself? You are in luck!

Released on June 17, ServiceNow has enabled an option to select who will receive updates on request tickets when ordering IT services for someone else. To use this feature, you must ensure the following checkbox is enabled: Check this box to send all notifications regarding this request to the “Requested For” person.

The person identified in the “Requested For” field will receive all of the notifications. Please note that you (the person submitting the request on behalf of someone else) will not receive any notifications if you select this option.
