Several departments transitioned from paper-based faxing to electronic with RightFax

As part of the Paperless Office initiative, the Health Sciences Information Services (HSIS) and Telecommunications teams have collaborated to transition several departments from paper-based faxing to electronic faxing with RightFax.

RightFax is an enterprise solution that delivers documents electronically and securely to Yale email boxes, shared drives and applications. RightFax provides a digital record of documents sent/received, savings on paper/printing costs and facilitates productivity and efficiency. Over the last 3-4 months, our health campuses have processed an average of 16,000 faxes per month via RightFax.

Departments that are interested in using RightFax should submit a ticket for a shared email account and a request for a new phone line.
