For hundreds of years, women’s valor and significant contributions to the American military have been dismissed, discounted, appropriated by journalists, or relegated to little more than a footnote in history.

About Tracy Crow

Tracy Crow is president and CEO of MilSpeak Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to supporting and publishing the creative works of military veterans and family members through its imprints, MilSpeak Books and Family of Light Books.

She is also president of Tracy Crow Literary Agency and the author/editor of six books, including Cooper’s Hawk: The Remembering; It’s My Country Too: Women’s Military Stories from the American Revolution to Afghanistan (with co-author Jerri Bell); Eyes Right: Confessions from a Woman Marine; An Unlawful Order, (under her pen name, Carver Greene); Red, White, & True: Stories from Veterans and Families, WWII to Present; and On Point: A Guide to Writing the Military Story.

Tracy’s short stories and essays have appeared in a number of literary journals and anthologies and were nominated three times for the Pushcart Prize.
