Secure File Transfer Facility service no longer supported

Summary
The Secure File Transfer Facility service (files.yale.edu) is no longer supported by the vendor and will be retired at Yale as of December 22, 2021.
- Action required — service users will need to use OneDrive or their University email for new file/message sharing by November, 22, 2021. See details section.
- As of December 17, 2021, sent files will no longer be retrievable.
- This service is not related to Managed File Transfer.
Details
Service users will need to use the following OneDrive and University email functions to replace their current file transfer process by November 22, 2021.
- Set up a secure file transfer folder in OneDrive to share files or folders with individuals.
- See the OneDrive for Business Best Practices, How-To’s, and Support Information page for information on using OneDrive to share files.
- Request a file upload from an individual using OneDrive
- Send a secure message when you have sensitive information to share –

- EliApps mail users – EliApps Google Apps for Education: Send and open encrypted emails - IT at Yale (service-now.com)
